Seasonal Program Update
for January 6-7, 2024
happy new year! Thank you for helping to make the holiday week great. It was wonderful to be part of the celebration of the Grand Opening of Timbertown Quad. As we head into the remainder of the season, below are a few important reminders.
Safety is Everyone's Responsibility
Maintaining safety is important while having fun improving on-hill skills, and it's our goal in seasonal programs. In addition to developing skills through participating in skills lessons, we also practice and develop our safety skills on the slopes and on the lifts. These include stopping on the sides of trails, following coaches' directions, and using the safety bars on the lifts. We'll continue to review the Responsibility Code throughout the season to reinforce good safety practices.
PEEPs Pass
Completing the Park Etiquette & Education Program (PEEPs) is required for all program participants to ride in Loon's terrain parks. If you haven't completed the course or would like a refresher, head over to mypeepspass.com to complete the course to get your Peeps Pass. Show your PEEPs Pass to your coach.
Progress Updates
We're excited to celebrate your child's progress with you. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue, not all report cards are ready to be delivered. We're working to resolve the issue and get the report cards to you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.
Extra Gear
Please pack extra gloves, socks, hand/toe warmers, extra pants, etc., that will help your child stay comfortable while they're participating in their sessions.
Pro Tip: Label your child's gear so your child can easily recognize it as theirs.
Running Late?
If your child will be arriving late, please let our coaches know, so they can make arrangements for your child to join their group.
