Group Lessons
Ages 4-13
Our children's programs for ages 4–13 are held outdoors at the Children's Center, located near the Governor Adams Lodge. With a dedicated warm-up area and a private learning space on the snow, the Children's Center serves as the perfect base for young skiers and riders.
Ages 4-6
We make learning fun! Nurturing programs staffed by professional instructors encourage these energetic kids to explore.
Children spend up two hours of skiing or snowboarding in the morning and up to two hours on snow in the afternoon. Beginners have access to a private learning area, with a dedicated surface lift.Ages 7-13
For these little rippers, it's all about fun and safety on the slopes.
They can push their boundaries as they explore new and stimulating experiences. These kids can expect to spend a bit more time on snow — up to two and one-half hours in the morning, and two and one-half hours on snow in the afternoon.

Reserve in Advance Online
- Book in Advance: We recommend reserving group lessons online early, as they can sell out quickly
- Same-Day Reservations: Reserve lessons online until 7:30AM on the day you'd like to take a lesson.
- After 8:30AM: Call us at 603-745-8111 to book a same-day lesson.
Lift Ticket Required
- Lift Ticket Required: You need a lift ticket or season pass for lessons.
- How to Get a Ticket: Buy a ticket separately or choose a package that includes it.
Meeting Times
Check in at the Children’s Center, located near the Governor Adams Lodge.
Full Day:
- Drop Off: 9:00AM
- Pick Up: 3:15PM
Morning Only:
- Drop Off: 9:00AM
- Pick Up: 1:00PM

To Participate
- Participants in a lesson must be the valid age for the selected lesson
- You may be asked to verify participant's age. Falsifying age may result in forfeiture of the lesson. Subsequent accommodation in the appropriate lesson is subject to availability.
- A parent or guardian must remain at Loon throughout your child’s lesson.
Please Note: Children participating in lessons must be able to use the restroom without adult assistance.

Gear Up
Need rentals?
If you are renting skis or snowboards, please check in at the Rental Shop.
Bringing your own gear?
Pick up your tickets or passes from the PUB (Pick-Up Box) near the ticket windows in each base area, then meet on snow outside the Rental Shop.
Not sure what to wear?
- Dress in layers
- Hat or helmet
- Mittens or gloves
- Waterproof outerwear to stay dry and comfortable
- Consider eye protection, such as goggles.
Progression Lesson Packs
Your kid is ready to progress, but you need the flexibility to pick the days.
Designed for families committed to being on-mountain much of the winter, Progression Packs offer either 10 or 20 days of lessons throughout the season.

Know Before You Go
Lessons are valid for one participant (ages 4-13) and cannot be transferred.
Unused lessons expire at the conclusion of the 2024/25 winter season.
Changes cannot be made within 72 hours of the reserved day. Ability to change a reserved date is subject to availability.
