Turn The Key, Be Idle Free
A Little Bit, Goes a Long Way
Do your part to help reduce our carbon footprint! Small changes make a significant impact when reducing carbon emissions.
If ¼ of guest vehicles idle for 15 minutes on a Saturday, they would emit a carbon dioxide total equaled to the weight of a moose.
That’s a lot of carbon dioxide! This is why it is crucial to limit your vehicle’s idling time to reduce your impact on the environment and community.
No Idling Guidelines
Vehicles should be turned off when not in use except for the following scenarios:
- Emergency response vehicles when responding to an emergency.
- Operating vehicles that require specific temperature needs for function.
- Health and safety concerns (e.g., severe weather conditions)
Turn The Key, Be Idle Free
To support our goal and core values, we are making operational changes to limit greenhouse gas emissions produced by company vehicles. Our focus is to reduce carbon emissions by cutting back on idling times for company vehicles. This goal doesn’t stop at the resort, we want our guests to help make a difference in their carbon emissions too.
Thank you for consciously making sustainable decisions that better our environment and move us further towards our goal of being carbon neutral by 2030.
