World-class athletes, live music and entertainment, Scottish food & drink, free seminars, demonstrations, Try Its and more. Experience the spirit of Scotland – distilled into a single weekend at the NH Highland Games & Festival.

During the Games, access to Loon requires an event ticket.

This three-day event is produced by NH Scot, a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote and preserve Scottish culture for future generations. Loon Mountain Resort is proud to have hosted this event for over 40 years.

Festival Highlights

Concerts
Each year, crowds gather at the NH Highland Games & Festival eager to enjoy Scottish and Gaelic music ranging from lively tunes and soulful ballads to tribal beats. Performers that will be joining us this year include: Albannach, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, The American Rogues, and more.

Seminars
Seminars include whisky & beer tasting as well as a look back at Scottish history. Demonstrations and workshops are also available for harp, fiddle, and Scottish country dancing.

Competitions
Competitions are held in Highland dance, piping and drumming, pipe bands, fiddle, and harp. Plus, don't miss the sheepdog trials!


Know Before You Go

Pets
Only service animals are allowed on the grounds during the Highland Games. Pets are not permitted, and cannot be left in your vehicle. Please leave your pet at home.

Firearms
Firearms are not allowed on the grounds during the Highland Games.

This is an outdoor event. Dress according to the weather, and wear comfortable footwear. Your feet will thank you.

Parking Icon

Parking

General parking for the Games is located in the towns of Lincoln & Woodstock. All parking is free. Please follow the signs to designated parking areas and ride free shuttle buses to Loon Mountain Resort. Shuttle buses will run from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm (Shuttle service hours will be extended as necessary). Know Your Shuttle Route! Each parking lot has a designated Shuttle Route (numbered 1, 2 or 3). Knowing the parking lot you parked in will help you get on the correct shuttle at the end of the day.

Handicap Parking info
Park at Pemigewasset Base Camp at South Peak and you will be shuttled, via handicap-equipped bus, directly into the event grounds.

Evening Concerts and Events: For those attending evening events, parking is free and on-site at Loon Mountain Resort. Shuttle buses do not run for evening events.
