News & Community Media Center - Loon Mountain Press Releases -Ski and Snowboard Information
We are open daily for summer adventures, including the brand-new zipline! This extremely popular ride offers participants a round trip across the Pemigewasset River and back to the Adventure Center, where adventure seekers will find all kinds of fun, like the area's largest climbing wall, our bungee trampoline, bicycle rentals and tours--and extended hours to enjoy it all!
The Adventure Center Hours:
June 26-Sept. 5: Open Daily 9:30am - 7:00pm
Sept. 6: Open 9:30am - 5:30pm
Sept. 7-Oct. 11: Open Weekends only 9:30am - 5:30pm
(Closed 9/17-19 for NH Highland Games; TBD for 9/25-26 Nor'Easter)
Don't miss the Loon Adventure Package, which delivers a whole day of fun for a great price: NH's longest scenic gondola sky ride (unlimited rides) and summit adventures, round-trip zipline, unlimited climbing wall and bungee trampoline and a two-hour mountain bike rental – all for just $39 (age 13+).
The junior version of the Adventure Package for ages 6-12 is $29 and includes a pony ride. If the junior does not meet the 50-lb. minimum zip line weight requirement, the package cost is $25.
Loon also offers new horseback trail ride options this year. Riders enjoy riding the cool, wooded trails of Loon from 1 hour to 3 hours, while trail guides share their knowledge of local logging history and lore. Little kids love our pony rides, too!
Ever dreamed of being a train engineer? Well, now you can -- on Loon's authentic steam-powered train. Loon's Guest Train Engineer Program offers participants the opportunity to drive our narrow-gauge, wood-fired, steam-powered locomotive! The program runs one day each month, and includes instruction and actual operation of the locomotive! Check out the program details.
Stay tuned for news updates and, of course, some fabulous video snacks from our bungee trampoline, horseback riding, and the zip line!
