East Ridge Trail Network

Whether you're looking to get in a good workout—or just get away from it all—our cross-country network is the perfect place to explore the White Mountains. The East Ridge trail network is open to guests of Loon Mountain Resort and visitors to the area.

These wide trails follow a network of historic logging roads, and offer something for every level of cross-country skier—from gentle paths along snow-covered Pemigewasset River to more challenging trails that ascend the shoulder of Black Mountain.

Directions to East Ridge Trail Network

To access the East Ridge trail network, drive the paved Loon Mountain Road to Black Mountain Road. Follow Black Mountain Road to Landing Road. Go into The Landing, continue straight down the hill and the trailhead is to the right on Wanigan Road. Limited parking is available.
