Whale Watchers

Sunday, December 31, 2017

Ahoy, Mateys!

With New Hampshire's most powerful snowmaking system on full blast, massive white snowmaking whales will be making their annual migration to Loon Mountain! This winter, Loon's Whale Watchers aims to capture these elusive snow humpbacks for one day of transition trickery, colossal carving and sideways surfing.

The actual date of Whale Watchers is Sunday, December 31st. Terrain Park Captain Jared Minassian and Snowmaking Manager Ken Mack have been consulting flatland buoys and tide charts to ensure the perfect sets.

The actual event will be more of a session. No age groups. No divisions. Overall snowboarding style and creativity will be awarded.

Supported by: Oakley, FV Jah Reel, Sea Love Surfboards, Burton Snowboards, Volcom Surf
