Progress Report

This May, Loon broke ground on a multi-phase plan to build a network of over 15 miles of lift-serviced downhill mountain biking trails!

Designed and built in conjunction with Highland Trails LLC, of the industry-leading Highland Mountain Bike Park, the new network of trails will complement Loon's 6+ existing miles of cross-country biking trails. Once all phases are complete, Loon will offer over 20 miles of biking trails - the largest network of combined downhill and cross-country trails in New Hampshire.

Phase One | Opening Sept. 7!

Phase One will consist of five miles of trails, including two green-circle freeride trails, a green-circle technical trail, and a blue-square technical trail. Lift service will be offered via the Seven Brothers Triple chairlift. On Launch Weekend, Sept. 7–8, we'll ride 3 trails, including both green-circle freeride trails and the green-circle technical trail. Construction on our blue-square technical trail will continue through the fall of 2019.

Phase Two & Beyond | Summer 2020

In Phase Two and beyond, we will build an additional 10 miles of downhill trails. These phases will focus on freeride and technical trails for more advanced riders, and we'll expand lift service to the Kancamagus Express Quad. We also have plans to add bike rentals and lessons, a bike shop, and a dedicated learn-to-ride area. We will also connect our new downhill trail network to our 6 miles of existing cross-country trails.
