Holiday Week at Loon

Lincoln, NH (Dec. 19, 2016) - The upcoming holiday week at Loon Mountain Resort will feature some of the best December skiing and riding in years - plus a fun lineup of events, including a Christmas Eve Tree-Lighting Service and a celebration of the resort's 50th birthday.

Saturday, Dec. 24
Tree Lighting Christmas Eve Service
Get into the holiday spirit with Christmas carols, a living nativity scene, and a nondenominational candlelight service hosted by Loon Mountain Ministry. We'll even light a 30-foot-tall Christmas tree.
Starts 6:30 p.m. at Governor Adams Lodge.

Monday, Dec. 26
Ugly Sweater Party
Swing by the Paul Bunyan Room for a holiday cocktail party where ugly sweaters are the height of fashion. A three-piece band will be blasting tunes, and we'll even have a grab bag of awesome gifts.
Starts 4 p.m. in Paul Bunyan Room.

Tuesday, Dec. 27
Loon's 50th Birthday Party
Loon first opened on December 27, 1966 making this our actual 50th birthday. Take part in a historical scavenger hunt at 11 a.m. and meet Flynn the Flying Fox, Loon's new mascot, at 2:00pm outside of the Governor Adams Lodge for a special birthday treat.

Historical Scavenger Hunt
Join us for a Historic Scavenger Hunt that will take you to some of the important places in 50 year history of Loon!
Where: Governor Adams Lodge
When: 11:00 a.m.

Buddy The Clown
Buddy will be making the rounds with balloons, magic, comedy, juggling, and more!
1-4 p.m. at Governor Adams Lodge.

Wednesday, Dec. 28
Kids' Night Out
Kids will spend the evening ice skating, scaling the climbing wall and even ziplining. And a kids' night wouldn't be complete without a pizza party!
From 5-9 p.m. at Children's Center. For kids ages 4 to 12.

Thursday, Dec. 29
Buddy The Clown
Buddy will be making the rounds with balloons, magic, comedy, juggling, and more!
1-4 p.m. at Octagon Lodge.

Friday, Dec. 30
Face Painting
1-4 p.m. at Governor Adams Lodge

TGI Après
Celebrate the end of the week with après fun in the Paul Bunyan Room.
Starts 4 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 31
Burton Qualifiers
Snowboarders will channel their inner lumberjacks and buzzsaw their way through a course filled with custom-built features. Open to 100 riders at each of the first six stops competing in two divisions: Open and 15 & Under. Entry is free. Valid lift ticket required.
Registration 9-11 a.m. Competition starts at 12:30.

Kids' Night Out

Après Parties
Relax and unwind with friends after a fun day on the slopes.
From 2:30-5 p.m. at Babe's Blue Ox Lounge
From 3-5:30 p.m. at the Paul Bunyan Room.

Bunyan's Legendary Nights: New Year's Eve Party
This end-of-the-year edition of the Bunyan's Legendary Nights concert series will feature music, champagne toast, and hors d'oeuvres - including pizza, salads, cheese, veggie and fruit platters, wings, meatballs, and other hot appetizers.
Starts 9 p.m. in the Paul Bunyan Room. $25 cover, ages 21+. Space is limited, so admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sunday, January 1
Bloody Mary Mornings
There's no better cure for Saturday night après than Bloody Mary Mornings. Enjoy a fully-stocked Bloody Mary Bar with all the fixings, bring a few friends, and tag your photos #BlueOxBloody.
From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Babe's Blue Ox Lounge. For ages 21+.
