Group Lessons
Ages 3-7

It's never too early to start skiing & snowboarding! Loon's children’s programs offer progressive and caring coaching to help your child excel on snow - and have lots of fun, too.

Children’s programs for ages 3–7 start at the Children’s Center, near the Governor Adams Lodge. Featuring indoor playrooms, a nap room, and a private on-snow learning area, the Children’s Center is the ideal home base for aspiring skiers and riders.

PK Boo (Age 3)

With just the right mix of on-snow learning and indoor play, PK Boo teaches young kids to ski or snowboard by keeping things fun. Lessons include one hour of on-snow learning in the morning, one hour in the afternoon, and plenty of indoor playtime (and naptime) in between. All lessons take place in a private learning area, with easy access to restrooms. Excellent coach-to-kid ratios boost learning, with lift ticket and snacks provided. Full-day and morning half-day participants receive a hot lunch. Participants must be potty trained and willing to participate!

Want an update on your child’s progress? Stick around after the lesson and chat with their coach.

Kinderbear (Ages 4-7)

For older kids looking to spend a bit more time on snow, Kinderbear is the way to go. Children spend two hours of skiing or snowboarding in the morning, and two hours on snow in the afternoon. All lessons take place in a private learning area, with a dedicated surface lift and access to the Burton Riglet Park. Excellent instructor-to-student ratios boost learning, with lift ticket and snacks provided to students. Full-day and morning half-day participants receive a hot lunch.

About the Burton Riglet Park
Filled with wood carvings of owls, bears, and a kid-sized replica steam train, the Burton Riglet Park offers an innovative terrain-based learning experience. The Paul Bunyan-themed park immerses little skiers and riders in a creative and playful environment to enhance their first experience of sliding on snow.
