Summer Sunday Summit Worship Service

Summer Worship Schedule

Every Sunday during our summer season, the Reverend Skip Schwarz conducts popular and inspirational church services at the outdoor amphitheater on top of Loon Mountain.

There is one service at 10:00am every Sunday, from June 28 through October 11, 2009. The gondola departs at 9:30 for the 10:00am service, rain or shine. A reduced-rate $6 gondola ticket is available until 9:45am. Ask for the "Church Ticket" in the gift shop. Children 5 and under are free.

Winter Worship Schedule

Our downhill worship services starts in December and ends on Easter day. Combining skiing and worship, the service consists of three stops along the trail (we take Bear Claw, a beginner trail).

The service starts from the deck of the Summit Cafe at 11am (allow yourself 30 minutes for lifts and lines to get up there). Complimentary group photo provided. Lift ticket required!

Special Services

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: Held at 6:30 and 8:30 PM on Christmas Eve in the Gov. Adam's Lodge, this popular service combines Christmas carols with special music, an uplifting message and candle lighting to provide an inspirational start to your Christmas celebration.

Easter Sunrise Service: The gondola will be running to carry participants to the top for this memorable beginning to Easter day. Dress warm. In case of high winds or inclement weather, the service will be held in the Octagon Lodge, adjacent to the Gondola Building. The gondola ride and the refreshments following the service are complimentary. Trails will be open following the service for those desiring to ski/ride down.
