The Junior Seasonal Program is part of the award-winning Loon Mountain Ski & Snowboard School, and feeder program to the rapidly growing Snowboard & Alpine Freeride Competition Team. 

This camp is specifically designed for kids 7 - 17 years old who are early intermediate to expert skiers and riders.  The focus is on teaching and experiencing the joys of learning and mastering all the conditions and challenging situations the mountain can offer.

Kids will enjoy hot lunch in their private dining facility located adjacent to Wanigan's Deli, where groups rotate in and out at a pre-scheduled time for a good hot lunch to energize them for more action on the mountain.

Fun special events and social functions occur throughout the season.

Please note that programs do not meet on Christmas Day or New Year's Day.

All Junior programs feature the following:

• Express Lift Access (Season pass/lift ticket necessary for participation; not included in rate)
• Curriculum-based program including safety and etiquette training to ensure consistency and well-rounded development
• Gate training is provided through Race City at no additional charge. 
• Foul weather activities are provided if necessary. 
• Lunch, snacks and supervised break times are included with each day.
• Limited availability -- enroll early.

Junior Unlimited Camp

• Up to 40 days of on-snow training (if all sessions are attended); program meets on weekends and during holiday periods from Dec. 15, 2007 to March 23, 2008. Note: Programs do not meet 12/24/07, 12/25/07 and 1/1/08.
• Holiday periods include: Christmas/New Year's Week (12/26-31/07), Martin Luther King Weekend (1/19-21/08), and Presidents' Week (2/16-24/08).
• Up to 2 guest visit days per season at program director's discretion. Based on volume demands, advance reservations are required.
• 2007-08 Season: $1,299

Junior Limited Camp

• Up to 22 days of on-snow training (if all sessions are attended). 
• Limited Seasonal Camps start on December 15, 2007 and continue every weekend until March 23, 2008, not including weekends or days during the Christmas/New Year's Week (12/26-31/07), Martin Luther King Weekend (1/19-21/08), and Presidents' Week (2/16-24/08).
• Posted holiday periods are not included in the Junior Limited Program.
• Additional days may be purchased beyond the 22 days included at $59.00 / child / day at the program director's discretion (based on availability).
• Advance reservations must be made prior to participating. This rate may only be utilized during established program dates.
• 2007-08 Season: $899
  Additional days: $59 / child / day (based on availability).

Sessions generally start at 9:00 a.m. and go to 3:00 p.m. with a one-hour break for lunch.  Please see specific program details for times.  All participants should arrive at their designated meeting area appropriately dressed for a day of fun on the mountain and ready to ski. A season pass or valid lift ticket is required to ski in a program group.

An appropriate signed release & payment must be submitted and placed on-file prior to the first day of participation.

Refund Policy

No refunds, except in the case of illness or injury. Deductions will be made for usage at an average daily price, plus a 10% processing charge.
