First Tracks

Close your eyes. Now imagine: it's 7:15am, you're standing on top of the mountain, it's quiet, just a few people, and no tracks. Open your eyes...this could be you. Grab your coffee and head to the gondola for your 7:00am First Tracks private lesson.

One-hour to six-hour lessons available Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a limited number of First Tracks privates available each day, so book yours now.

First Tracks privates are for skiers and riders of intermediate to advanced ability, and must be booked no later than 12pm the day prior to your desired lesson.

Three-Hour Private Lesson

Spend 3 hours with Loon's Snowsports pros! Customized learning and express lift access. Perfect your skills on a variety of terrain.

Participate alone or with up to four friends or family members. Lesson can be split to accommodate different interests or abilities.

Ask about one-hour and two-hour privates, too.

Visit one of our Snowsports planners at either base lodge for help in determining your current level of ability and to plot your best route to meet your winter snowsports goals.

Private Add-On

Want to keep going? No problem! Just bring the ticket from your three-hour group lesson that morning* to the Snowsports desk, and receive a two-hour private lesson that afternoon for only $99.

*Note: Both lessons must be purchased and taken in the same day. Must present valid ticket/receipt at the Snowsports desk to receive discounts.

Cancellation Policy

Private and semi-private lesson reservations must be cancelled at least 48 hrs before the scheduled lesson time. If the reservation is not cancelled 48 hrs in advance, the credit card on file will be charged for the full amount of the lesson and the guest will be able to apply this amount to a future lesson. If the reservation is not cancelled prior to the lesson time, the guest will be charged the full amount with no future credit given.
