Is Loon Mountain currently accepting applications?

How do I apply for a position at Loon Mountain?
The easiest way is to fill out an online application. Simply answer the questions and press the submit button. All online applications go directly to the Human Resources Department as well as the department you are applying for when they are processed. Loon also has a Job Festival in October prior to the winter season. Please refer to the Job Festival page for dates and times.
Walk-ins applicants are accepted at the HR Office. Hours are as follows:
Summer (May – October): Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
Winter (November – April): Seven days a week, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
How do I check the status of my application?
Managers will receive and review your application. Managers will only contact candidates who are well matched for an available position. You can check the status of your application via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the Human Resources Department at 603-745-6281 ext. 5577 or ext. 5518.
Do I need to complete more than one application per season?
No, you only need to fill out one application per season (i.e., summer or winter of each year) for all positions. On your application, please list all of the positions that interest you.
If you are interested in a new opening and have already filled out an application, just call the Human Resources Department to update your application.
As an employee of Loon Mountain, what benefits are available to me?
Loon has many great resort benefits for our staff in addition to a great work environment. Benefits depend on the status of your employment. Please refer to the Benefits page for a general list.
Does Loon Mountain provide housing for employees?
We offer limited housing for rent to employees on a first come, first served basis. We also have referral lists for local rental properties in the area. To see more information regarding our housing options, please visit our Housing page.
Does Loon sponsor work visas?
J1 Visas are welcome at Loon Mountain through our international recruiter, CIEE. Visit the International Applicants page for more details. H2B Visas are no longer accepted.
Employment Eligibility Verification
Loon Mountain requires proof of eligibility to work in the United States prior to beginning employment. We require that all employees have the necessary identification on or before their first day of work. Required identification is most commonly presented as (but not limited to):
- A United States passport
- Driver's License / State ID AND (Social Security Card OR Birth Certificate)
Other types of IDs are also accepted; please check with Human Resources for other acceptable forms of identification. Loon Mountain is required by federal and state law to view the original documents. Copies or faxes are not acceptable. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO START WORK WITHOUT THE ABOVE DOCUMENTS.
