Ski & Snowboard Lessons Children's Group Lessons - Ages 3-6

Kids love ski and snowboard group lessons at Loon Mountain's Camp Wildwoods. Encourage your children to discover a whole new land of adventure at our Children's Learning Center.

In lessons they will explore exciting Discovery Zones, depicting stories about the history of logging in the Lincoln area, the surrounding White Mountain National Forest, and woodland creatures found on Loon Mountain.

All groups are carefully designed for levels 1–5, and are formed daily by ability. Our coaches are trained in child-specific teaching techniques that are innovative and fun. Safety is always a focus as they use games and terrain features to develop skills on the mountain. Your kids will love Camp Wildwoods, for a terrific family ski vacation.

Levels 1–5 PK BOO – Age 3 (ski only)

Children enjoy up to 1 hour of on-hill time in the morning and 1 hour of on-hill time in the afternoon. Age-appropriate instructor-to-child ratios optimize learning. Lesson, lift ticket, hot cocoa breaks and snacks are provided for students. Morning half-day and full-day participants receive a hot lunch.

2009-10 Prices:

Levels 1–5 KINDERBEAR – Ages 4 – 6

Children either ski or snowboard for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Age-appropriate instructor-to-child ratios optimize learning. Lesson, lift ticket, hot cocoa breaks and snacks are provided for students. Morning half-day and full-day participants receive a hot lunch.

The Children's Learning Center is located next to Mountainside Rentals at Base Camp. All camps provide the option of full- or half-day lessons, though half-day lessons may not be available on weekends or holidays. Lessons, lift ticket, hot chocolate breaks and snacks are provided for students. Morning half-day and full-day participants receive lunch.

Seasonal programs for daycare and children's camps are available.

Cancellation Policy

By reserving a lesson, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy, which states:
If you cancel up to two days prior to the date of your reservation, you will not be charged. If you cancel one day prior to the date of your reservation, you will be charged in full and you will receive a Loon-only credit in that dollar amount, to be used during the current winter season. If you cancel the day of your reservation, you will be charged in full.
