LINCOLN, NH  (March  6, 2013) – Thanks to abundant natural snowfall, 100% open terrain, and a jam-packed events calendar, Loon Mountain Resort is gearing up for an unforgettable spring of skiing and riding.

March 9-10 – Women’s Performance Camp  - For ladies looking to move beyond blue squares, this camp will teach the skills to rip the steeps, cruise the bumps, and float through the trees. The camp features more than 10 hours of woman-to-woman coaching and free swag from sponsors Billabong, Chaos, and Barefoot Wine.

March 18  - Last Call with Eastern Boarder – Deemed “one of the most laid-back huck fests” by Transworld Snowboarding, this event attracts some of the best boarders in the nation to Loon Mountain Park to huck for cash and prizes.

March 23 – Governor’s Cup – In its 29th year, this giant slalom race benefits the Governor’s Cup Ski Scholarship. Registration includes t-shirt and post-race raffle.

April 6 – 80’s Day – Pay homage to a decade of big hair and neon by dusting off your straight skis and squeezing into those acid-washed jeans. At the end of the day, unbuckle your rear-entry boots and clomp on over to the Paul Bunyan Room for music by 80’s cover band Fast Times.

April 13 - Street Cred presented by Red Bull – Snowboarders compete in this street-inspired rail jam where creativity, style and versatility earn points with the judges. Competitors compete on urban-style elements, vying for bragging rights and a $2,000 cash purse.
