New Hampshire's Loon Mountain to Host Highland Games Sept. 21-23

Lincoln, NH: Loon Mountain, in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, hosts the 32nd annual New Hampshire Highland Games September 21-23, 2007. The Games are presented by The New Hampshire Gathering of the Scottish Clans, Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the furtherance of the music, dance, athletics, and customs of the Scottish people and the continuance of the Gaelic culture. Recognized by the American Bus Association (ABA) as one of North America’s 100 best events for 2007, the New Hampshire Highland Games bring fun and excitement for all ages. Festivities include:
- Live music from 29 pipe bands
- Musical entertainers from Scotland, Canada, and the United States
- Fiddle and harp competitions
- Highland dancing
- Athletic competitions
- Whiskey tastings
- Seminars in Scottish history
