MARCH 3 AT LOON MOUNTAIN
15th Annual Briefcase Race Benefits Boston's Faulkner Breast Centre
LINCOLN, NH - The 15th annual TJ Maxx Briefcase Race will be held at Loon Mountain on Saturday, March 3. Hosted by WCVB-TV's Sportscaster Mike Lynch and TJ Maxx, individuals and teams of five race on an easy dual slalom course while dressed in business attire and carrying a briefcase. All proceeds from the race go to the Faulkner Hospital Breast Centre in Boston, MA. Over the past 14 years, the race has raised more than $625,000.
An annual favorite, this race is limited to the first 50 teams that register. The entry fee for a team of five is $750 or $150 for an individual, and all racers will receive a free event t-shirt, race bib, briefcase, promotional items, lift ticket and lunch. The festivities will kickoff on Friday evening with a reception in the Governor's Lodge from 7 to 10 p.m. The race will get underway on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and after the race, Mike Lynch will host an après event with a live auction and awards. Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death for women and affects one in eight women. Founded in 1988, the Faulkner Breast Centre is the first of its kind in New England and is dedicated to providing the most up-to-date, comprehensive breast care for women, including active clinical research, high-quality treatment and patient education.
