Monster Mud Run FAQ

Will I get dirty?

Will I be shocked with a cattle prod?

No. Read about the course here.

I registered. What do I get?!

Each Monster Mudder will receive a Monster Mud Run tech shirt. You will also get a face full of New Hampshire's finest mud...guaranteed.

Where do I sign up?

Register online.

Who is this race for?

The course and obstacles are designed to make you sweat, make you smile, and make you dirty. It will push you to your physical limit, but we're pretty confident you'll have a good time doing it. Monster Mudders must be at least 14 years old on race day. Monster Mudders under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present to read and complete the liability release & agreement.

Free Kids Run

This a scaled down but still muddy race for kids 13 & under. It's free to run and starts at 1:00pm. The first kids 100 to register will receive a special gift. A parent/guardian must be present to read and complete the liability release & agreement. See schedule below.

It's free! If you can't join in the mud, join in the fun. Stay clean and dry as you cheer on your Monster Mudders and watch as they battle a blizzard of mud. With live music, outdoor BBQ, sponsor village, lawn games and more - you definitely won't get bored.

Certified First Aid staff will be on-course and at the start/finish line throughout the event.

When should I arrive?

Please check in at least one hour prior to your heat. That being said, there's a ton of action happening around the Governor Adams Lodge area, where the start & finish lines are located. Come cheer on other Monster Mudders before and after your heat!

What if it rains?

It's going to be extra muddy, and that's a good thing. The show must go on.

Do I need to know how to swim?

No, but it could help. Babe's Flea Bath, primarily a water obstacle, involves navigating across a cold large pond. Racers may bypass this or any obstacle at their will. Racers in the Elite Heat must complete each obstacle to be qualified for awards.

Can I take photos or videos of the race?

You sure can! Please stay in the start and finish line area while taking photos. Don't venture onto the course. But we'd love to see your muddy friends and family photos. Post them using #MonsterMudRun

How do I get clean after I finish?

With all of that mud, it's going to be hard to get totally clean. There are cubbies on the first and second floor of the Governor Adams Lodge to store your stuff. Showers will be available outside as well as a big rinsing station - thanks to our powerful snowmaking system.

How do I get a refund?

Sorry, no refunds. However, you can transfer your registration to another person through July 4, 2016. Find out how.
