Golden Gala

To benefit the Loon Mountain Area Community Fund.

The second annual Golden Gala is a night to celebrate the tight-knit community that surrounds Loon and to support those in need. Enjoy an evening of dinner, moonlight Gondola Skyride, and live music along with the many who have made Loon what it is today. 

Moonlight Skyride

Arrive at the Octagon Lodge and load the Gondola for a unique moonlit view of Lincoln and the surrounding mountain peaks. Once at the top, make your way to the Summit Cafe where wine, beer, and hors d'oeuvres will be served. 

Dinner & Live Music

Cocktail hour will also continue down at the Octagon Lodge with live music, appetizers, and beer & wine. When it's time to dine, choose from a selection of gourmet entrees and a selection of chef-prepared sides and a salad of your choice.

Live Auction

During a live auction, you'll have a chance to take home historical Loon memorabilia, wood-carved trail signs, gifts from other Boyne Resorts, Gold New England Passes and much more.

Snowcat Ride

Cap off your evening with a snowcat ride and watch it lay down a blanket of corduroy on Seven Brothers trail.


The inaugural Golden Gala, held last January, raised $30,000 to benefit the Loon Mountain Area Community Fund. After such a successful event "to think that we could raise $30,000 in one night is pretty incredible," former Loon president Rick Kelley said. "I think it just shows what the community of Loon is like. They have a lot of conviction about the area and the people in it."

Doors open at 6:00 pm. Ages 21+.
All proceeds benefit the Loon Mountain Area Community Fund.

Grilled chicken topped with sliced fresh mozzarella, diced tomatoes, basil, onions, and drizzled with a balsamic glaze

Roasted Vegetable Lasagna

Fresh sliced vegetables layered with rich marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese
